Part-Time Employment Opportunity- $9.00 hr.
We are seeking a highly motivated, creative, and entrepreneurial intern/individual to consult, coordinate, design, and decorate. You need to be creative with a good eye for color. The ability to think outside the box and look at blank canvases is a must, so you can effectively create something out of nothing! Working to deadlines under pressure is helpful as is being organized and having great attention to detail.
-Grow and maintain our social media presence (via Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram and Pinterest.) and optimize our user interfaces
-Assist in creating and implementing strategic and innovative social media campaigns aimed at increasing awareness of our company, expanding outreach, and improving communication with our target audiences
-Develop, collect and manage content including stories, anecdotes, special event information, and announcements to be shared online
Will work with many different elements including:
Entertainment, Signage, and Food
Event Design software
-Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite and comprehensive understanding of and skill in navigating social media outlets, including Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest, etc.
-Excellent written communication skills
-Enthusiasm, sense of humor and a positive, can-do attitude
-Ability to self-motivate and stay on task while carrying out routine tasks individually and as part of a team
-Strong organizational skills, including effective time management
-Ability to collect, analyze, and synthesize information from diverse sources
-Availability to work approximately 20 hours per week in our showroom located at 14209 Aston St. Houston TX 77429
-Driven and highly motivated individual who has some experience in marketing, communications, event design and business
-Must have own transportation
-Blogging experience is a plus!
